Charles Spurgeon told the story of an old lady who led an impoverished life and was dying of hunger. As she lay dying, it was discovered that several years before, she had been bequeathed a home and some substantial money that was yielding interest. This meant that she did not have to suffer like she had, if only she knew that she was very wealthy. She needed to know what she did not know! The knowledge of the truth could not have been more needed.

We have questions about our spirituality and transcendental matters. We tend to bury our confusion and unanswered questions within the chambers of our minds. So, we give attention to ephemeral matters because we lack the knowledge of the Truth that liberates.
